Sending a Message

Accessing All Messages:

  1. Go to your Care Dashboard

  2. Click the Messages tab on the left

    1. Use the Search bar to find existing messages with a client or provider
    2. Select a chat from the list on the left to view the conversation
    3. Click the Start a new chat button in the top left corner to begin a new conversation

Messaging a Specific Client:

  1. Go to your Care Dashboard 

  2. Click the Clients tab on the left

  3. Click on the relevant client

  4. Select any session to open the Client Chart
  5. View and sent messages on the left-hand side of the chart

Messaging is secure and HIPAA-compliant.

Will clients be notified?
Yes. Clients receive message notifications based on their communication settings.

Am I expected to reply immediately?
No. At the top of a client's chat they will see "Responds in 1-2 days. For emergency: Call 911 or 988" to inform them that your response won't be immediate.
